This website is the final product in a series of Sailor Moon related websites. I originally had one dedicated to the inner senshi, but that was before I learned of there being more than five. This was, obviously, before Sailor Moon S had been dubbed or was even available in America (c. 1998) and before the manga had been translated. When I learned that there were more senshi at the website Sailormoon CyberCity (which is now down) I was interested in learning more about these unknown characters. The lesbian relationship between Tenou Haruka and Kaiou Michiru further piqued my interest, especially since the episodes containing them were unavailable in America. When they finally arrived in this country, I was outraged that their romantic love was turned into a familial love. I also found that I identified with Kaiou Michiru moreso than any of the other characters, in part because of our similar artistic interests. Through her relationship with another female I was also interested in the character Tenou Haruka and her initial androgyny. I was also curious about Haruka's power to seduce the members of her own sex -- as it is clear from both the anime and the manga that at one point in time all of the inner senshi are attracted to her. Perhaps, also, because there is so little information about these two that I found them all the more interesting. Their mystery is captivating, and their beauty alluring. The product, of course, of all of this interest is this website, which I hope will provide some insight into the personalities of these two characters.
